Shamrock Boxers began in 1981 with the purchase of Philadel's Gypsy Wonder.  She gave us two champions, Ch. Smokey's Magnum Force (Smokey), an all breed BIS and Ch. Shamrock's Kizzie De Jacquet (Kizzie) who went BOW at the Potomac and Maryland Boxer Club Specialties. In 1984 we purchased a young bitch from Jacquet Boxers who had just won the 6-9 fawn class at ABC. She went on to become Ch. Jacquet's Susannah (Susie). We then bred Smokey to Susie which produced Ch. Shamrock's Mahagony Roxie owned by Peggy Otto. A second litter produced Jacquet's Shasta De Shamrock DOM (13 points with a major). A third litter produced Shamrock's Shalimar, who went 1st in the 6-9 brindle puppy class at ABC in 1989 and WB at the Miami Boxer Club Specialty. In 1998, we acquired Highflight's Blaze of Glory (Kelsey) 7 points, who went back to Smokey and Kizzie, from Ms. Robin Long. Kelsey was bred to Ch. PRO's Ace In The Hole in 1998 which produced our Ch. Shamrock's Sixty Minute Man (Stoney). In 2003, we aquired Shamrock's Southern Belle (Mollie). She was a Stoney daughter out of Laura's CocoPuff (also sired by Ch. PRO's Ace In The Hole). We lost both Stoney and Mollie in November of 2010. Shortly afterward, Mrs. Jackie Elgin called and wanted to breed her Ch. PRO's  Bordeaux's Something New (Hope) to our Ch. Shamrock's Sixty Minute Man (Stoney) which was accomplished through a frozen semen breeding at UGA. From that breeding we aquired Ch. Bordeaux's N PRO Ms.Grace D'Shamrock (Gracie) and Bordeaux's My Girl D'Shamrock (Abbie). On August 9, 2014, we bred Gracie to Ch. PRO's Bordeaux Top Secret (Captain). From that breeding we have a litter of 6 including a flashy fawn bitch, flashy brindle bitch, 2 flashy brindle males, a plain brindle male and a white male. At Shamrock Boxers we strive to produce a better Boxer and we feel that we have done just that. We do not take all the credit as we thank the breeders that we got our start with, those that we cross bred with, and those from whom we sought information regarding breeding and showing. We have been blessed with our Boxers, most of whom became champions, but those that didn't were still very special to us. We have made many friends while showing Boxers and thank all of them for their support and encouragement. We extend a special thanks to Dr. Lloyd Flint, Philadel Boxers, Jacquet Boxers, Marylou Hatfied, Ted Fickes, Jackie Elgin, and many others. We extend a special Thanks to Ms. Peggy Otto of PRO Boxers.
